Reply from Singapore Medical Council SMC
Received an email reply from Singapore Medical Council (SMC) regarding me suing Dr Wee Soon Khai under the Medical Registration Act (Cap 174). Dr Wee behavior on 9th Oct 2008 is now a serious case. I had given him more than 60 days for explanations and to apologize but was all ignored. Imagine a person whom you take him as a friend and was attached or having a fiancée, tiring to kiss you when you are half-sleeping or to be exacted he kissed me in the air, 3 inches from my lips and face. How do you feel? And before that case he sent his would-be father-in-law and his fiancée to insult you when you don’t know what had happened. The most disgusting fact was I had never dated Dr. Wee Soon Khai at all. Or I had not been dating for more than 3 years. Pursuit of similar case may be much easier in US. I am still waiting for replies from Ministry of Law and Ministry of Home Affair. Seriously wore out as I know that being born and brought up in a “Fine” country actually may not be that “Fine”. As “Laws” are “Fine Tuned”, like members of SMC paid an annual fee and they are “Wholly Governed” by some strict details for the public to pursuit against any of their members so they can “Live A Safe and Sound Life”. It’s good for all members who are great like Dr Lee SH and others but for “Bad” doctors is even better as in this way they can “Do What they Want” and yet they are “Governed” in kind of “Safe Circle” like Smoking Zone.
