I Dreamed A Dream
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUWiIdRamxk
I sing “I Dreamed A Dream” from the musical “Les Miserables” the way I interpreted more than ten years ago. The picture I merged a picture of my face with the picture I took from last trip to GuaugZhou. Not too bad for first try leh : ) I remembered there is another similar song from “Miss Saigon” also by the same composer, I think the title was “Dream”, or something like that, sing like this, “The movie In my mind, our children laugh all day, and eat too much ice-cream, and life is like a dream, dream… the movie in my mind…” Oh… sooorry, I think the title was “The Movie In My Mind”, SaLar la : ( hehehe
Lyrics of “I Dreamed A Dream” : ---
I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung No wine untasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame
He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came
And still I dream he'll come to me
That we'll live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be
So much different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed
The dream
I dreamed.
